Paritosh Prasad, MD
Medical Coordinator, GHC Ethiopia

Tosh joined the GHC team in July 2009 and is now the Medical Coordinator for GHC in Ethiopia. As a Massachusetts General Hospital Durant Refugee Medicine Fellow, he has been working with the GHC in Ethiopia to advance our innovative MDR-TB program there in partnership with the Ethiopian Federal Ministry of Health and St. Peter’s Tuberculosis Specialized Hospital in Addis Ababa. A graduate of Harvard Medical School and the Harvard Combined Medicine and Pediatrics Residency Program, Tosh is a board certified staff Internist at Massachusetts General Hospital. His previous work includes the development of a rural mountain clinic in Panama, work in the Ecuadorian rainforest, and in the slums of Bombay. His book, Pocket Pediatric, the Official Handbook of the MGH Pediatric Residency Program, was published in July 2009. Tosh brings to the GHC a passion for medicine and a desire to provide the best possible care to all patients everywhere.
